Consultations- A consultation is recommended if your child has already been evaluated and your main objective is to commence speech-language therapy. I will review prior reports, parent concerns, and developmental history, followed by a clinical, play-based assessment with your child to determine needs for services and initial recommendations. A written report is not included here, unless requested at additional cost.
Speech-Language Evaluations - clinical evaluation of expresssive, receptive, and social/pragmatic language skills, play development, and speech/articulation skills are availabe and tailored to your specific needs. A brief evaluation is recommended if you have specific concerns in one area of development, for example regarding your child’s speech clarity, or whether your toddler presents with a language delay. You will be provided with a summary report of findings and recommendations.
If your child is over the age of 3 and has not been evaluated before, a comprehensive speech-language evaluation of all areas of communication might be recommended. These include a full written report with detailed discussion of findings and recommendations for services.
