“Juliane came into our lives back in 2013 when I was 9 months pregnant with my youngest daughter. My son Colin had just turned 2 years old and had little to no language. I was very concerned.From the first day that she came to work with him, I knew we had found the right person. She was so warm and nurturing, which my son Colin really needed as he was super shy. He felt safe to take risks with her and was given so much positive reinforcement. I said this years ago and I still feel it to this day…she helped Colin find his voice. She spent tireless hours working with him to produce sounds and words and built from there to eventually speak in complete sentences. She also was able to pick up on some receptive language deficits that needed to be addressed. Juliane always communicated in detail with me about what they had worked on and ways that I could carry out and reinforce these skills throughout the upcoming week. Juliane worked with Colin from the age of 2 until 9 years old. At one point, I also asked her to work with my daughter who was having some articulation difficulties with certain sounds. Norah loved her as well, even to the point that the two of them would argue over who got to work with her first at speech sessions! Fast forward to the present day, both Colin and Norah are honor roll students in middle school and neither require any academic support. I truly feel that by Juliane helping them with their communication skills when they were little, they were set on a path of success at school and beyond. I feel so blessed to have had her be a huge part of my children’s language development.”
